In this vegetable fermentation master class you will learn how to make vital, functional fermented foods safely and effectively at home. I will provide all the organic ingredients for the ferments you make, you bring basic kitchen equipment and jars, and you take home the good things you make on the day. We make sauerkraut and kimchi, beet kvass, and a third ferment depending on what is available from my suppliers just before the day. I will bring some fermented foods and drinks for you to taste, and some kombucha scobys (mothers) and starter liquid to share.
Included in the price of the workshop is my 108 page ebook that explains the science and health/medicinal virtues of fermented foods. In depth coverage of potential problem areas are provided, as are 21 recipes, with beautiful set piece and step-by-step photos. Post workshop troubleshooting and support completes the package.
